Visit

Subject to Government guidance, Victoria Art Gallery will reopen on 18 May 2021. Keep following us for updates and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Please visit our reopening page to find out more about booking tickets and the measures we have put in place to keep you safe. Please note: The Gallery will be closed on Mondays, with the exception of Bank Holiday Mondays.

The Victoria Art Gallery is located in the centre of Bath, next to the famous Pulteney Bridge. Information on admission charges, opening times, how to find us and facilities for families are included here.

The displays are on two floors. The permanent collection* at the Victoria Art Gallery occupies two rooms on the first floor, whilst the ground floor contains two temporary exhibition spaces (small admission charge applies) which change every couple of months. Should you visit during an exhibition changeover, don't forget that the displays on the first floor remain open as normal. There are various special offers, which can be seen here.

*We will do our best to ensure that the permanent exhibition in the Upper Gallery remains open to all visitors who have booked tickets; however, please note that this cannot be guaranteed as access to the Upper Gallery depends on the availability of our wonderful volunteers.

There are language sheets on display in the Gallery in EnglishFrenchGermanJapanese and Spanish.
