Study Facilities

Visitors can make an appointment to view the Victoria Art Gallery’s collections.

The Victoria Art Gallery has many more items in its collection than it can display. Our collection includes watercolours, drawings and prints that are too fragile to display very often. Many of these works of art relate to the people and places of Bath and its surrounding area.

If you have an enquiry it is possible to make an appointment to see items from our collection. Researchers may come and look at works in our study room.

Appointments should be booked at least one week in advance to allow us time to arrange for the items to be accessed from the stores. It is also possible to look at items on our illustrated database. If you would like to make an appointment please contact the Collections Manager on +44 (0)1225 477232 or email us and let us know what it is that you would particularly like to see.
