Join us for an immersive sketching experience where art meets the wild. Guided by an expert artist and avian specialist, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to observe and draw live birds of prey.

 

Details:

6th September 2025

10:00-12:30 & 14:00-16:30

Victoria Art Gallery

12 participants for each session (24 tickets available in total)

Artist led with live birds of prey and handler in the room available to answer questions about the bird

£70 standard ticket

 

  • All materials will be provided.
  • Hot drinks will be provided for the duration of the workshop.
  • Please arrive for your workshop 10 minutes before your session time.
  • Tickets are purchased under the condition that they are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  • You will not be able to touch the birds of prey as it can damage their feathers. All interactions with the birds of prey will be overseen by the handler and will be judged dynamically. There is the possibility of holding the bird whilst wearing a protective glove. The handler would be pleased to answer questions and share facts.
  • There is no parking at the Victoria Art Gallery but there are a number of car parks within easy walking distance.
  • Your ticket does not include access to The Lost Spells: Listening to a Landscape of Voices exhibition
