Bath & North East Somerset Council, which owns and manages
the Victoria Art Gallery, has been awarded a Chartermark for the
quality of the Gallery's services.
The Chartermark is designed to measure how well a service
responds to its customers' needs and it is only available to local
government organisations.

The award recognises the influence of visitors in the Gallery's
future. There is a user group that offers regular
recommendations and comments. Visitors also curate the
periodic "People's Shows" mounted by the Gallery from items in its
own collection. Frequent customer surveys measure the quality
of the visitor experience and feedback from all users is
encouraged.
