HENRY MOORE: In the Arts Council Collection
13 April - 23 June 2013 This exciting new exhibition explores the work of Henry Moore (1898-1986) in the Arts Council Collection. Moore is one of Britain’s most celebrated and pioneering modern artists and is a key figure for the Arts Council Collection. Tickets £3.50.

Charlotte Sorapure
13 April – 23 June 2013.
Charlotte Sorapure lives and works in Bath. She studied at Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Art and Technology, and the Royal Academy of Arts, for the Post Graduate Diploma in Painting, 1995. Since graduating, her work has been exhibited widely, including most recently at Messum’s Gallery, London; Mall Galleries, London and the Holburne Museum, Bath. The  show includes new drawings as well as paintings, all of which will be for sale. Free entry.

Julia Atkinson: Retrospection
13 April – 23 June 2013.
Jointly ticketed with Henry Moore show, £3.50. Julia Atkinson takes photographs of surfaces and patterns that less observant would pass over. She is also a collector of small natural and manmade objects. She then combines and reassembles them into painterly abstractions, playing with visual similarity and ambiguity.Through this exhibition, she is celebrating fifty years of visual exploration.

Thursday 4 April,
A Spring landscape - for 3 to 11 years. Create landscapes full of spring colours. Friday 31 May, Less is Moore - for 3 to 11 years. Get to know the work of Henry Moore and create a special piece of art to take home.  Telephone 01225 477244 for tickets and further information. £4.00 per session per child. Pre-booking is important as the sessions are very popular. All sessions 10.30-12.00 and 1.30-3.00.

Celebrate Bath as a World Heritage site with a whole day of events and activities for the whole family to enjoy in Royal Victoria Park, on the lawn outside the Crescent. Experience 18thc Bath with Pulteney's 13th Regiment of Foot encamped in Royal Victoria Park.Costumed characters and guided tours will help you find out more about social life in 18th century Bath as well.

For Museums at Night 2013, hundreds of museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites unlocked their doors for special evening events over the weekend. Roman Baths by Torchlight Saturday 18 May, 6pm - 9pm Join us for a musical tour through history. Enjoy early music on an ancient lyre, medieval hurdy gurdy and modern jazz. Last entry 8pm.
