Sculpture and Sport

Sculpture and Sport: a celebration for 2012 - 26 May – 1 July

To celebrate the London Olympics, this exhibition will display an inspired collection of bronze sculptures of 30 different Olympic and Paralympic sports by 30 British sculptors. The sculptors were selected to contribute different approaches and styles and to reflect a cross-section of contemporary British sculpture.

Money raised from sales will be used to help disadvantaged and disabled young people. The exhibition will be supported with both video and live technique demonstrations by talented local youngsters. It has been organised by Art at the Edge CIC. The exhibition's curator is the local sculptor Alan Dun.
