Philip Bouchard
until 18 November
Growing up in the Middle East, Philip has always had a thing for
skies, telescopes, sun spots and stars. Having painted a
variety of subjects in his career to date, he realises that the
imagined reality that he formed in his surrealist paintings is as
nothing compared to the reality of the physical world around
him; and in particular to the skies to which he always
returns.
Philip’s Bath Sky Diary is his attempt to capture a fleeting
moment of each day; a moment that is of interest to him in the
surroundings in which he is most familiar.
